A healthy balanced diet goes hand in hand with an exercise programme as part of a healthy lifestyle not just in terms of achieving or maintaining a healthy weight but also for the prevention of fatigue, mood swings and illness. Unlike many diet gurus who believe you should throw out all the bad things and start from scratch I encourage clients to take ‘bitesize chunks’, making small changes and adopting them as a routine before adding to them and I’m there to provide ongoing support if it’s tough.
